ABOUT ME
A grateful Southern California native, I spent my earliest years in Huntington Beach, CA and later moved to Seattle, WA, where I studied Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Seattle. My family and I remained in the Pacific Northwest while I worked on a professional career.
Exclusively represented by Stuart Bird Fine Art, a well-known art dealer based in West Hollywood, CA in 2004, I continued on with my art career pursuits. Under the artist name “Colleen Quinn,” Stuart successfully marketed my work to collectors world-wide until his untimely death in 2009.
I’ve reclaimed my maiden name, and now live in the beautiful foothills of Los Angeles, CA. My art will now be promoted and sold through a new website and social media.
2020 brought new inspiration for ‘The Canyon Series.’ Mountains on fire surrounding me, and the world-wide Pandemic gave the gift of introspection, while forcing me to choose faith over fear. Thanks to a rented studio, the time and space to work, and the beauty I see everywhere, a new direction emerged.
